Monthly Submissions limit refers to the total number of submissions in all forms an account is allowed to receive monthly. This limit resets every first of the month. Getting over the limit before that will put the account to over-limit status and will disable the forms in that account temporarily until the limit resets or the account is upgraded.

The Total Submission Storage, on the other hand, refers to the total number of submissions that are stored in the account. Unless deleted automatically using the Auto Delete Submission App or manually through the form's submission page — How-to-view-Submissions, every submission made on the form(s) in the account is stored in Jotform. Only accounts that are on Free subscription has this limit. When the limit of 500 submissions is reached, the oldest submission in the account is deleted automatically to make room for the incoming submission.

Note: If you choose to delete submission manually, we suggest you download it first so you'll have a backup. Deleted submissions are irrecoverable. — How-to-Partially-Download-Form-Submissions-as-Excel-CSV-PDF
