    Is it possible to insert a WYSIWYG text area to my form?

    I tried to create a simple form with wysiwyg text area, but it is not working. it does not show up in preview nor by using embed code.

     

    please suggest.

    Sorry for the confusion, but JotForm's Text Area tool can only generate a text-only field. We actually do not allow HTML/formatted text to be saved as a form submission, hence the lack of a WYSIWYG text editor tool.

    I did not realize you were referring to the Free Text (HTML) tool. Unfortunately, that cannot be used to create a WYSIWYG editor. The Free Text (HTML) tool can only be used (by the form owner) for inserting HTML content on a form, such as HTML links, tables, images, etc.

    I am afraid your only option is to have a Text Area field in your form to accept plain text information.

    Hi,

    We have released Rich "WYSIWYG" Editor for text-area field. You can enable it under Text area field's properties toolbar or Text Area field's Properties.

    Great idea but still not working as it should.  I tried it on 2 browsers (cleared cache etc) and it doesn't display when WYSIWYG is enabled.
