    Hey Jotform family,

I wanted to see if there was a way for me to limit submissions by a particular field name and not by email address or IP address.

I have various people selling tickets for an event. They are allowed to keep the money as a gift. However, they are limited to only 10. To avoid having to create a different form for each person, I added a Sold By field so the person can add their name. This person should only be allowed to do this 10 times. Is there a way to do this?

Would any conditional logic work in this case?

The Full Name field will not be recognized in the Unique Question feature, but you could use a Short Text Entry field to get the Full Name field's value and set the unique question based on this.

This guide will help you copying the value from one field to another: https://www.jotform.com/help/286-How-to-Pass-Field-Value-to-Another-Field

The short text entry field can be selected on the unique question section:

However, there is not a way to set up a submissions limit by unique question and number of submissions.

We could open a feature request, please let us know if you would like this thread  to be escalated.
