If I need to edit a form that has been submitted with payment, will it affect my client's payment?

My client's entered the wrong time on their contract and I would like to edit the contract. I have Square linked to the contract and they paid upon submission of the form. If I edit the form, will the payment be affected? I don't want to loose their payment, or double charge them.

This is safe to edit payment submissions. The payment field works in read-only mode when you edit payment submissions. It means that you will be able to update all the form fields except the payment field.
