I just cloned your form, and did a test:

Why one of my fields get empty after clicking in edit submission? Image 1 Screenshot 30

    2) I then clicked on the edit submission link, and submitted the form again:

Why one of my fields get empty after clicking in edit submission? Image 2 Screenshot 41

The data was never erased, you can change that submission test I did on my form: https://www.jotform.com/edit/3788035194935843163

Is this issue happening on each submission? Is there any specific way that you filled your form? Please let us know, so we can try to reproduce the issue.

The example that you did it is when you answer Compras or Marketing, please try to answer with Celula Cadastro

The "Tipo de alteração" field is never shown when selecting the "Celula Cadastro" option from the "Perfil que preencherá o formulário" field, because of the conditions you have setup:

    okay but that is right

the problem is: try to answer with Compras then answer with the Edit option with Celula, the answer of this field will be blank

this should not be erase the answer

If upon original submission you used "Compras", and then on edit submission mode you switch to "Celula Cadastro", the "Tipo de alteração" field will be hidden and it's value will be cleared, because of the condition you have setup:

Why one of my fields get empty after clicking in edit submission? Image 1 Screenshot 20

That's the purpose of that condition, and the exact same thing will happen in edit mode, otherwise, you would be overriding the rule of the condition you have setup.

If you want the "Tipo de alteração" to appear regardless of the selection, simply delete it from that condition.

The hide option it is okay in the form. I mean the answer disapear in the email.

    1. Compras answer "Tipo de alteração" with Ativação
    2. Celula receive the Edit link and answer the form
    3. I receive the form with the answers
          a. In the field "Tipo de alteração" I get the answer blank

I dont know why when I edit the answers the answers in that field it is blank not the last answer.

Did you understand what I mean?

Can you please provide the Edit Submission Link? It is possible that the "Tip de altercao" is blank because of the Show Hide Field condition.

Just like what my colleague said, in the Edit Mode, the value of the "Tip de altercao" will be removed or cleared once you switch the "Celula Cadastro" to "Compras" or "Marketing".

This is the reason why the field is blank in the email alert. Please disable or delete the condition to fix the issue.

    Hope that helps. Thank you.

"Just like what my colleague said, in the Edit Mode, the value of the "Tip de altercao" will be removed or cleared once you switch the "Celula Cadastro" to "Compras" or "Marketing" This doesnt make sense. The others fields are okay, my others forms are okay.

The problem was "hide the fields hiding"

    *the problem still persist

    Try to:

"Perfil que preencherá o formulário" = "Compras"
"Inserir acesso de Compras" = "compras"
    "Código do Comprador" = "100"
"Qual é a situação desse cadastro" = "REGULAR"
    "Código Winthor Produto" = "010"

    "Tipo de alteração" = "Ativação"
    "Tipo" = "Ativado"
    "Motivo da ativação" = blank

Then answer in the Edit Submssion

"Perfil que preencherá o formulário" = "Celula Cadastro"
"Inserir acesso de Compras" = "celula"

"Foi feita a alteração?" = "Não"
"Motivo da não alteração" = "Indevida"

In the email the person will receive:

    "Tipo de Alteração" was {tipoDe}

{tipoDe} is blank, but should be "Ativação"

The {tipoDe} gets cleared out, because you witched from "Compras" to "Celula Cadastro", and according to the condition you have setup, if "Celula Cadastro" is selected, then the "Tipo de Alteração" must be hidden.

Please keep in mind that the value of a field gets cleared if it gets conditionally hidden, but you can override this by selecting the Don't clear option for the "Clear Hidden Field Values" setting:

Why one of my fields get empty after clicking in edit submission? Image 1 Screenshot 50

Although, that option is already selected, the value for that field gets cleared, because of the following condition you have setup to input a specific value if the selection is equal to Marketing, meaning that if the opposite happens, that field should remain empty:

Why one of my fields get empty after clicking in edit submission? Image 2 Screenshot 61

So, please try disabling that condition:

Why one of my fields get empty after clicking in edit submission? Image 3 Screenshot 72

    And do another test, example:

Why one of my fields get empty after clicking in edit submission? Image 4 Screenshot 83

As you can see, even though the field was hidden, it's value was never cleared. Let us know if you have more questions.

But I need this condition to work, you gave me a solution but another problem, can you help me please?

The solution would be deleting that condition, but since you need it, what you can do is to add a second Multiple Choice field, with one option.

(It appears like you have already done it)

Why one of my fields get empty after clicking in edit submission? Image 1 Screenshot 30

So, now simply applied that condition to the new "Tipo de alteração - MKT" field:
