I'm trying to get more information onto a form than is usual but ... is there a way to add any css or anything to make a multiple selection tick box field have the possibility of having each choice option have a hover text or modal pop up or something to give information for that option?
I can't share the page it's on, it's a private/temporary url.

Unfortunately, there is no way to insert hover text on each choice. Here's the only way to add a Hover Text to the Multiple Choice Field Properties:

I know how to do the hover for the entire thing I just meant per item on the choices. But, another question, can I set up anchor points for a huge form?

Unfortunately, there is no option for setting a hover text for each choice in a question. My suggestion, is that since you have a checkbox for your choices is to set one question for every choice, or get your form's full HTML source and alter the code there to create a hover text for each choice. However, you will need to code for it.
If you opt for the latter, here is a guide for you on how to get your form's full HTML source:

The next question was about a different feature. I created a separate thread for it here https://www.jotform.com/answers/1227365
We will attend to it as soon as we can.
Thank you.
