Can I Change How Reporting Is Setup?

I am trying to use the multiple selector or the multiple checklist widget. However, what I need is in the reporting that if someone selects two items in the multiple selector or multiple checklist widget, each item appears on it's own line. This way it is easy to filter by item. Is this possible?

I used a standard multiple choice field. And each item is on its own line.

That worked but when I export, they are all appearing on one line again. 

Any suggestions?

When data is collected, each field is collected in it's own cell.  If you want data to be separated to its own cells, it would require using a single field for each piece of data being captured that you want separated.
