Hi,
I am a photographer, and I will be having mini sessions which will be taking place back-to-back with each other on specific dates and specific times (with 5 minute intervals in between).
I'm looking for a way which the client can book the session directly from a form. I'd like them to select the day and time that works for them. I want them to see the availability, and once a session is booked, I want that option to be disabled to others.
Is there a ready made template for such a thing? and if not, is there a format which will enable me to offer this?
I would be happy to hear what you may have to suggest.
All the best,
Elana
PS.
I have offered these mini sessions in the past and have used google forms.
In order to avoid double booking I had to constantly check what people have booked and to delete the option from the menu.
I am puting the form from in the URL line so you can see what it looked like which might better help you understand what I am looking for.

Yes, it is possible to have such workflow applied with JotForm, you could use the date reservation widget in order to disable a date once it has been selected, please find the widget here: https://widgets.jotform.com/app/date_reservation
You may also use the appointment slots widget that will allow you to set the available number of times an option can be selected: https://widgets.jotform.com/app/appointment_slots
This guide will help you adding the widget to your form: https://www.jotform.com/help/252-How-to-Add-a-Widget-to-your-Form
To request the time you may use a time field:
You could also accept file uploads through your form, this guide will help you doing so: https://www.jotform.com/help/332-How-to-Create-File-Upload-Forms
I would also like to share you the link to our templates where you may find an existing form that fits your needs and clone it into your account: https://www.jotform.com/form-templates/

erduchinReplied on August 23, 2017 at 8:43 AMHi,
Thanks for your response.
This is a good start, but still not exactly what I need.
I see that I can create dates to be selected, but once the date is
selected, I need to offer specific times of the days for the photoshoots (I
won't be offering them all day, just certain times).
I need the client to select the date they want, and than they can see which
slots are availalble.
How can I do this?
thanks

We don't have a single feature that would allow you to do this automatically. A workaround I can offer would be to use the Date Picker field then the Appointment Slots widget.
Here's an example form: https://www.jotform.com/72342245226955. Select August 25, 2017 in Date Picker.
The widget with time selection is shown when you select the date. You can do this with conditional logic: https://www.jotform.com/help/316-How-to-Show-or-Hide-Fields-Base-on-User-s-Answer.
This is manual which is the downside. You have to add a few widgets depending on the dates/sessions you offer.
Please check and I hope this works for you.
