this is second time I am posting about this issu - Unique ID feature doesn't work for me.
It gives random number starting with 2 and nothing that I will enter. One example:

I set it to start from 1000 or 3000 but it always give number what ever it feels like.

I tried numerous times. Even removed the featuer and than add it again. Worked for one or two submissions, and than nothing.

I need this for a clients form where he needs unique ID on the documents.

Form its in Czech language but I am sure you can see that this feature doesn't work.

The {id} tag generated by clicking Unique ID in the form fields list is actually for the submission ID and not the unique ID you have inserted on your form.

This is obviously a design flaw on our end so I have forwarded a report ticket to rectify this problem.

To generate the appropriate {tag} for your actual unique ID, click the item that corresponds to the name you have given to the unique ID field.

    For example:

    Hope this helps!

I tried to add it in to the form exactly as you said but now it's not showing anything:

Form ID created using Unique ID function:

Form ID inserted in to the mail notification:

    form shows no ID:

I was able to replicate this issue by the time when we had replication delay problem with some of our servers but base on my test right now, the problem seems to be fixed.

Can you please recheck if the Unique ID is working properly now?

Do let us know if the problem still persist. Thank you!

    Hi idarktech,

    it seems to be working.

One form came with number, than I add prefix to 1000 and it didn't come with any nubmer at all.

But one form after that came up with 1002, so it seems to be fine.

Thank you for your help. I hope it's sorted now.
