Could you please provide more details of what you're trying to accomplish to your form?

To my understanding, you want to create a registering form for new members. Do you mean login form? If yes, JotForm does not have membership features. Your form will be also automatically suspended by our anti-phishing filter tool for asking login information which violates our terms of use.

Please check our registration form templates on this link: https://www.jotform.com/form-templates/search/Registration

You can also add Unique ID widget to your form. For more information, please check this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/79-How-to-Add-Custom-Unique-IDs-to-your-Form-Submissions

If you have questions, please contact us again. Thank you.

Thanks for your response, John! I think I may have used the "Create an Account" template to build all of my registration forms. (Its been awhile, and I forget.) I wanted to use Unique Question Form Limits on the address field of my "Bird Dog Tip" (property) registration form to identify unique contest entries. Unfortunately, it sounds like that can't be done with the current version of form limits. However, the Unique ID widget is just what the doctor ordered!

Yes, I plan to have members register on my site using JotForm, and then access premium features of my site after being validated as members. I assume the login happens on my web page rather than the forms. However, I also need to validate members who submit my forms. How is that accomplished?

Also, you post New Member registration templates, as featured in the link you forwarded to me. But, you say new member registrations violate JotForm's Terms of Service and aren't allowed!?! I'm confused! What's the difference between form registration and new member registration? Please explain!

    Hello,

The new member registration templates that are available are those that collect information without the use of providing authentication information to the user, since JotForm does not have the capacity to process log ins.

As mentioned by John_Benson, the system does not have the capacity to process logins so if a form contains information for asking login and password information, there is a presumption that the form is used for phishing. More if the form only contains a login and password field combination.

So if you wish your members to be registered with the use of JotForm, what you can only get are some information which is not used for logging in, but for accepting sign-ups for your users to be able to log-in, you will need to have an existing content management system. I suppose we can integrate in a way your form here and with a CMS that you have.

Feel free to get back to us if you need assistance

Thanks for your response Liyam. Yes, I'd be interested in the most efficient and flexible method of CMS integration with JotForm. How does that work? Currently, I have accounts with (or am considering using) the following CMS platforms:

    1. Weebly (they're my site builder, and have some data collection capability)

    2.  Podio (my primary data collection dashboard)

    3. Zoho CRM (likely to become my email server, but they have several additional integrated services for data management as well)

Thank you for the additional information.

We do have an available integration with Zoho CRM — How-to-Integrate-JotForm-with-Zoho-CRM

Although there is a way to embed your form on a Weebly website, there is no available option to integrate Jotform with Weebly's data collection capability (forms).

As for Podio, Jotform currently doesn't have a direct integration with it. But, you can try to use Zapier to collect submission data as Podio items — https://zapier.com/zapbook/zaps/2246/save-jotform-submissions-as-podio-items/

If you have other questions, please feel free to let us know.

    Hello,

I will like the jotform to be used for capturing guest booking at the reception. This information on the form will be saved and sent automatically to a predefined e-mail address for notifications of room booking every day. Can Jot form achieve this? If yes, kindly send me details of how I can go about a simple bed and breakfast form for this purpose.

I will really appreciate your support on this. My e-mail addresses are :- kunle.adeleke@secureteckservices.com, secureteck1@gmail.com,secureteck@yahoo.com

Thanks for the tips Mike_G! I knew Zapier was out there. Kinda pricey though; was hoping not to have to pay for any custom code work. But, I'll look into it.

Thanks for re-posting DoubleHill's entry. I was confused as to how it applied to this thread!?!

May I make a suggestion that you please submit a new feature request on my behalf to your backend staff for a Podio widget or API that integrates JotForm data with Podio's CRM? So many of Podio's competitors are already listed in your online store.

    Thanks!
