If we want to 'create a card' for each response, is that still not possible other than using a third party like Zapier?

Do you mean you want to have one card for each submission data? Unfortunately, that is currently not possible.

However, if you mean you want to a card for each question you have, you can create a form for each question and link each form to your Trello cards.

Let us know of you exact use case and we will see if there is any workaround.

Yes a card for each form submitted.   Is there a plan for that functionality?

We need more information on how you want it to work.

    1. Do you want it to work in such a way that when there is new submission, new Trello card is automatically created? Currently, a form can be attached to your Trello card and the number of submissions show in real-time in your Trello card.

    2. Do you want it to work in such a way that you can select submissions to attach to your Trello card?

    3. In what format do you want the submission to be displayed in your Trello card (e.g. in grid, in PDF)?

Here is what I'd envision.  The ability to set up a form to 'create a card' in a specific format.

Here are the basic requirements as I see them:

    1.  Create a new card on every submission

    2.  Set field values from answers to questions:

    Required

    a. Title of card based on a field in Jotform.
    b. Add Label(s) based on a field in  Jotform
    c. Ability to pump in all data (or some) into the Description field (format it like we do with email, and pump it in).
    d.  Ability to move card to a list based on a field from Jotform
    e.  Set Due date based on a field in Jotform
    f.  Ability to add members to the card based on a field in jotform

    Nice to have

    f.  Add comment based on a field in jotform or an update to the form.
    g.  Add an attachment (of answers)
    h.  Ability to Set up checklist based on jotform

I believe almost all of the items above are available via the Trello API.

Any additional questions, let me know.

That seems to be not possible in the Power-Up. In Jotform Power-Up block, you can only select to create a new form, select an existing form, Fill a form, attach uploads and reports. There is no option in the area for you to map the fields. In this case, your option would be to use Zapier to integrate Jotform and be able to map the fields.

Ageed.  Through a Power Up this is not possible.  This would be triggering to it on each submission and calling against the webook API.

If this is ever done, do let me know.

isn't this possible with a Typeform integration? Maybe it is done through Zapier???  But I work with another dept. on campus that uses Typeform with Trello. Every time there is a submission, a new card is created with all the info from the submission. They then activate voting so the submission can be voted on by all committee members for this particular application.

I agree this would be very useful as it allows one board to manage the form submissions rather than just one card. I see value in both!

@Eileen_DEN, this feature has been request to our back-end team, if they see more people requesting for the same feature, there would be more chances for an implementation in a near future.

I already have Trello create a new card for each JotForm submission. What I do is use JotForm's email functionality -- have JotForm send an email to your Trello "email to board" email address. This adds a card via email. You can specify the subject line and body from JotForm, and that will be included in the Trello card.

Glad to hear that you were able to find a workaround for your requirement. This is a very useful information for those who also have the same use case.

If you need further help, just let us know.
