    Please help me ... How to force to put a minimum number of characters in the password field

    Asked by wwwclub on August 26, 2012 at 04:06 AM

    I want people to indicate a password with an exact number of characters. You must be mandatory 6 characters.

    How will I do this, because so far only found way to have a maximum number and not an exact number?

    Hi,

    Thanks for contacting us.First on all, Jotform do NOT allow the creation of such forms with password login feature because many times they are used for phishing - currently a major problem on the Internet. Users found with such forms in their account(s) are suspended and the offending form(s) deleted.

    I realize this may sound rather unfriendly but I'm sure you would appreciate that we have a reputation to maintain. The repercussions of allowing phishing forms on our servers are quite far reaching since we may have our site blocked. Can view the link below on previously answered question

    Hope you will bear with us and feel free to lets know if you have other concerns. Thanks for contacting us.

    Hello gori-mathew

    Ok I understand and really appreciate your information.

    But, as you can see, my form is not to log. Not to get into a page or site in order to manage the page.

    In fact, this form is just to do a simple registration and does not contain personal data. This form does not contain the name and even e-mail is optional.

    The idea of this form is to register people in games of solidarity through an identification password.

    What do you think of this?

    I have re-checked your form and actually it looks fine. It is indeed not a phishing form and therefore you should not worry.

    Youmay have a look at the links below on how to limit the characters entered in a field;
