How to Add a Number Field up to 1000?

Asked by wwwclub on August 27, 2012 at 06:56 AM

    How to do this?

At one field I want people to enter a number up to 1000.

But if you enter a number already noted in the report, can not be inserted and there is a warning to the user to choose another number

    thank you

You can enter numbers up to a certain amount but it limits you if it was already entered by the same customer whereas if a different customer enters such a number it should not. So far after doing some testing myself I have not been having issues but I will continue to research it to see if I can reproduce the problem but so far I have not. Please try going through the settings and adjusting the appropriate configurations to meet your needs and hopefully that will solve your problem. You can do all of this as seen below in the images I have provided you with. I hope this will help but if you're still having issues please let us know so that we can further investigate the problem. Thanks for being a JotFormer!

Actually, I think what wwwclub was stating was that they want the user of the form to get a warning upon entering an already submitted number. In other words, they want the form to function in such a manner that a check is made against currently submitted entries and if a match is found, a warning is displayed to the user. The requested behavior is similar to when one is signing up for a service of some sort and they enter a username that's already being used by a current member. They get a message in red stating "Not available".

Unfortunately, our form builder does not presently have the said capability. However, it's possible one of our colleagues may have a workaround.
