    How can I restore my form? URGENT

    Asked by Yon on August 28, 2012 at 03:08 AM

    Hello

    I am really hoping you can help me here. I have set up this file upload function to Dropbox through our server using JotForm. It has been great and we have received only positive feedback. However, apparently the form has gone over its quota. I am not sure at all I created a username, but these are the links (secure and non-secure) which were used:

    http://www.jotform.co/form/20748442737863

    OR

    https://secure.jotform.co/form/20748442737863

    I am wondering if there is any way to restore these forms? We have people who are used to this exact form and it would be great if you could help us restore it. More so, if its required, we will pay for the premium account, but for now we just need the form back.

    If you could reply to me as soon as you can, I would be forever grateful.

    Thanks in advance.

    Kind Regards,

    Yon

    Hi Yon,

    That form is under a "guest account", this means you are not logged in when you created this form. Please create an account here in JotForm and reply back here with your username so I can move this form to your account.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

    Thanks a lot for your help. My username is lgtaylor. Would you be able to keep the form in the same original Page URLS and embedded codes? Im asking this because the form is used within our website and if the address changes, we will have to pay more money to the people looking after our website.

    Thanks again, we really appreciate your help.

    Hi Yon,

    As far as I can see all forms from your guest account was successfully transferred to your registered account lgtaylor, maybe it was carried over right after you created your account with the same email address used from your guest account. Please check your registered account, you should be able to see your forms.

    Also, don't get worried as nothing will change to your form embed codes. Your forms will remain as it is.

    Have a pleasant day!

    Hi

    Thanks a lot for your support, the form is under my account. One last thing, it seems that our DropBox integration with that specific form does not work. I looked in the form and it does say it is integrated, however, when I try to upload a file using the form, the file does not end up in our DropBox. Can you offer any assistance with that?

    Thanks again,

    Yon

    Hi Yon,

    Can you please try to re-integrate your form with dropbox? Please edit your form, open the dropbox integration and remove it. After that, clear your browsers cache and re-integrate your form with dropbox. This might help.

    Let us know if the problem still persist after that. Thank you!

    Hi

    I also wanted to ask if there is a way to change the individual text boxes within a Matrix, and whether I can have some text boxes and some buttons or dropdowns within the same Matrix. If this is possible, then can you adjust their individual width as well?

    I will try to re-integrate.

    Thanks for your help, your assistance has been great.

    Unfortunately, our matrix tool doesn't have that option yet. Hopefully this will be added in the future. What you can do for now is to use your form source code and modify the matrix code in order to have different field types in the same matrix.

    Thanks!

    When Will a table function be introduced?

    Hi Igtaylor,

    The developers take note of every feature request that comes in from our users, unfortunately the table functionality you descibe is not often requested by many users so its unlikely to implemented and added as a new feature very soon.

    Hi Support crew,

    Is there a way to change the individual matrix boxes to any type of box and any size? it seems that when I change the code, all my matrix tables change altogether.

    I am also not getting any email notifications when new forms are submitted. This goes for both forms under my account. Can you shed some light on this? it was all working until a size limit was reached and this account was created, if this is of any help.

    Thanks for your help

    It is possible to change the text box sizes of each matrix table by injecting a custom css. Can you let us know the form url so that we can check, please? Form 20748442737863 doesn't seem to have any matrix in it.

    It appears that yon@taylorsaccountants.com.au is in our bounce list that's why you are unable to receive notification. However, I have removed it from the list and should now be working fine.

    Reason(s) : 5.4.7 - Delivery expired (message too old) 'timeout'

    Hi

    This is the form with the Matrix. As you will be able to see, one of the tables is way too wide and does not make the form look nice. I also want to put in drop down menus for Yes/No questions or for gender choice etc. Is this possible?

    Thanks for those tutorials, I will have a look

    @Igtaylor,

    You can resize specific matrix values by defining the matrix field ID. You may try injecting the following codes to your form:

    #id_21 .form-matrix-values .form-textbox,

    #id_37 .form-matrix-values .form-textbox,

    #id_38 .form-matrix-values .form-textbox,

    #id_39 .form-matrix-values .form-textbox {

    width: 120px !important;

    }

    The bolded ID's above are from your form matrix fields which overflows your form width.

    Check the result here: http://form.jotform.me/form/22431212448444?

    Thanks.

    Thanks a lot for this, it worked well. Can you do the same for the rest of my form? some tables are way too wide, and I don't know which #id relates to each of the forms...I really appreciate your support. The link to the complete form as it is right now is: http://form.jotform.co/form/22417779990872

    @vijn

    Your IP ( and country) is different from the one used to create the said form, at least according to our records.

    We will need to verify that you really are the owner of the said form. Do you still have access to the email account e******h@e*************y.com?

    Yes. I do. I couldn't remember which email address I had used. Go ahead and send to the address and I'll go through the process of verification. Thanks for the prompt reply.

    Hello. I just want to follow-up on this issue. I have checked my email, including spam folders and have not managed to find the email you are referring to. Can you please try to resend it? I really need to get this information in order to make the necessary changes to the form. Thanks again guys.

    What address or name would it show up as? What would the subject be? Maybe I've somehow just missed it.
