    Hello,

I am having an issue with a form we are using for member sign ups.  The form is not saving the information that in input into it.  When someone hits "join now", our submission button, they are redirected as needed to our payment site but the form does not save the data into our submissions.  Please help as we need this working!

Hi, I've been looking into your problem and from what I can see, everything seems to be working appropriately but I would also like to point out that there are 1 or 2 submissions that showed up in the list at the bottom of the form and reports section. I also noticed that 51 of your submissions are pending and those will not show up into your submissions information list until the payments for those have fully processed so please allow them time to do so and then they should show up. I hope this will help solve your problem but if not, we are here to answer any other questions you have.

Thank you very much for the help on that!

About how long should it typically take a form submission to be added to the submissions?

    Hi UCFasme,

You can take a look at your pending submissions by doing the following:

Select the form and click on the Submissions icon at the top of the page. That should open a new window with a "Pending Submissions" icon at the top of the page.

As Deygus mentioned, they will be there until the payment is confirmed or they expire (after 30 days).  Payments through paypal are usually very quick unless it is a check that is being used, at which point it can take some time because they have to clear the bank.

    Hope this helps!

Ussually, a incomplete payment  means that your users changed their mind at last minute. However, it might happen that they made the payment and need to be confirmed as my colleagues have stated.

At any rate, it is recommendable to enable IPN (Instant Payment Notifications) in paypal, please follow these steps:

Go into your Paypal account, Click on the Profile menu, select My Selling Prefences

Midway down the next page is a 'Instant payment notifications' field, select click on the Update button to the right of it.

Click Choose IPN Settings, Enter http://www.jotform.net/ipns/paypal.php into the Notification URLtext box and ensure Receive IPN Message (Enabled) radio button is selected. Click Save.
