How to create workflow form?

    Hi

I'm looking for some instruction on an approval workflow where I want the staff member to be able to submit a purchase order that will workflow based on the cost centre submitted and amount to the relevant supervisor.

Ideally I would like the cost centre data and the rules to be stored in a spreadsheet and referenced so that the staff member doesn't need to understand all of these rules.

Once the relevant approver receives the template I would like them to be able to either approve or reject the form.

If approved a copy would need to go to the original requestor and then also the our purchasing team.

If rejected it would need to go back to the original requestor for some corrections.

I can see some old trails on this topic but nothing current and the forms people reference to clone all seem to be disabled now.

    Are you able to assist.

    Thanks

Yes it is possible to create such form by taking advantage of our "Conditions" & "Edit Link" feature. I would suggest you to please take a look at the following guide which should help you achieve this:  https://www.jotform.com/help/432-A-General-Approach-on-Building-an-Approval-Process-Workflow

Ideally I would like the cost centre data and the rules to be stored in a spreadsheet and referenced so that the staff member doesn't need to understand all of these rules.

Please note that you can add "Spreadsheet" or "Data Grid" widget to list all the rules. Alternatively, you can also add "iFrame Embed" widget and embed your google spreadsheet in form.

    Hope this helps.

Do try it out and get back to us if you have any trouble.
