Can I recover deleted submissions?

I'm currently using JotForm and my customers fullfilled the questionnary produced by my form.

Here is my use case for the back-up :

Sometimes they fullfill more than one questionnary, and to have a clean database I destroy the olders questionnary (I keep only the last one).

Manipulating the database, I can make errors (eg destroy the last questionnary or the questionnary of an other client).

I would like in those cases to be able to recover the database with the content of responses before my mistake !

    Is it possible ?

    My general question is :

Is there a procedure or plugin or a tool to recover a Jotform database (in the Jotform interface) associated with one of the forms in case of necessity ?

    Many thanks

    Olivier

Hey Olivier - The short answer to your question is no.

You (or us) can't restore deleted submissions. Prior to deletion, you will be asked if you're sure you want to delete your data. This would mean it requires user confirmation and it states the process cannot be undone (shown on the image below).

Here's a snippet from the guide I'm linking below:

When deleting submissions individually, you will see this warning message (see screenshot below). Please note that deleting submission data is irreversible and will permanently remove it in our servers, including the file uploads on them.

So, I strongly urge you to make a backup copy of your Submission Data just in case you'd still need them. There are plenty of ways to do that, feel free to pick one that will work best for you:
