I embedded my form on the google sites and for some reason it is counting against my SSL submissions when I don't even use the SSL. If you could help, that would be great. I really don't want my forms deactivated.

Let me please inform you that Google Gadget uses SSL connection, so this is not a bug.
The solution is to put your non-SSL form to the Google Sites using 3rd party Embed Gadget.
1. Go to your site.
2. Switch to Edit mode.
3. Open "Insert Menu" Select "More gadgets" at the bottom.
4. Select "Embed Gadget".
5. Put your form iFrame embedding code, adjust gadget width and height, then press OK.
I have reset your SSL submissions counter from 10 to 0.
