Date Picker: Why isn't the field showing empty?

I have a calendar picker set up providing the ability to choose dates beginning 7 days in the future, which is working fine, but the date shows up with "today's date" by default. I don't want any date there at all, unless it would be the first date available (7 days from "today"). I have chosen "none" in the properties but it doesn't make a difference. Many of your responses are from the old system so they are no longer relevant.

I have just checked your form and noticed what you're reporting; however, I have even set the field properties to default and I can see the issue persists, even setting a custom date does not seem to be working currently. 

I would recommend you to remove the current field on your form, this way you remove the current issue, adding a new one should resolve the issue.
