It is because your Authorize.net payment setup is not configured correctly.
The said error maybe due to incorrect product type on your authorize.net account.

I suggest you contact Authorize.net customer support so they can help you in setting up your account product type.

I've used this form before, just a few weeks ago with no issues and didn't change anything to it since then.

I think I know what caused the error.
In your subscriptions there is some kind of error during the setup

Can you try turning off the "Selected by default" and then turn it ON again and hit "SAVE"

Let me know if you have done it.

I also tested the two forms you mentioned and it was fine.

It doesn't seem to work. Can you try deleting that one and add another subscription product (the same value). Be sure that "Set Trial Period" is NOT activated or turned ON

I cloned your form and added the product this way, tested it and successful. This statement is still equivalent to onetime payment though.

Let me know if you are okay with this.

yes got it, thank you. For some reason I was always able to just pick 1 recurring payment to do basically a 1 time payment with no issues. Thanks for looking into this and for your help today
