How to make a signature field read only?

    1. is there a way to make a signature field read only?  I have a form with a signature field that I want signed by the administrator of the form after the original form submission is done.  If I hide the signature field, I am finding that the field does not display in submission edit mode (admin edit mode) and it has to display there to complete the submission and generate a pdf with signatures from two parties.

    2.  Is there a way to send an auto-response email ONLY after a form edit is completed?  I have an auto-response that is being sent at the time of the original submission, and a different one i want sent after form submission is edited, and I only want the latter to be sent after form is edited, but it is being sent in both instances.

Unfortunately it is currently not possible to make the signature field mandatory. The best option would be to hide the signature field and display it when the submission is edited. Please note that it is possible to display form fields only when the submission is edited by taking advantage of our "Conditions" & "Get Form Page URL" widget.

I did check your form and found that you have correctly added the "Get Form Page URL" widget and condition to check the edit URL and show the signature field. Please check the screenshot below:

Your form seems to work as expected and the "Date Agreed Signature" widget is displayed only when the edit mode. Is there any issues you are having?

We will wait for your response.

I have moved your second question to a new thread so that we can address it separately. You will be answered in the following thread:  https://www.jotform.com/answers/1245749
