Stripe Payments

    Hi Support,

I wanted to find out what happens to customer credit card information if they submit their payment information via the Stripe integration app within one of our forms but the payment didn't go through and the customer didn't receive a failed message. The payment isn't showing it went through on Stripe's end either.

Is the credit card information sitting out there in cyberspace for someone to hack or is it permanently gone because it didn't go through? Not sure why the Stripe app in this particular form didn't work as it was showing it was connected to our Stripe account in live mode and had the same settings as another form we're using where the Stripe app is working.

I've now deleted the Stripe app from the form and added a link instead to another form we created where I know the payments are being processed but want to know the answer to the security question.

    Thank you.

We have done a direct integration with Stripe payment gateway using the secured communication they provide for integration to its platform. You have raised a valid concern and every Payment gateway must meet some minimum standards and the concerns you have raised is one of them. Every payment gateway we have integrated with conforms to theses security standards. https://stripe.com/docs/security

Any transmission of card payment transactions are secured and encrypted heavily and if someone manages to intercept the information(Which is next to impossible because of the secure communication) they can not decrypt the information as they do not have decryption keys to do so.

Below is a link off security details of our form which is now standard to all form by default
