iOS app: Do you have an app that can show a list of forms to be opened and be filled up on iPad?

I have an ipad at work which i want members to use to join up, renew etc.  i have all the forms I need set up on jotform.  I want to lock down my ipad to just one app in guided access mode which is easy, if i lock down the jotform app though i have to login to it for it to work which would mean members can access the edit functions etc of my account.

Do you do an app which would just allow them to view the forms i want them too?

Unfortunately, we do not have an instant tool to show a list of forms available and can immediately be opened in an iPad for filling up and submissions.

Instead, what I could think of is creating a shortcut of pages on your iPad for each and every form that you have on your JotForm account, to your home screen. This way, opening the shortcut link will open the form in a browser for your members to fill-up.

Here are the steps on how you can add website shortcuts to your home screen. On this case, website links to your forms:

    1. Open Safari
    2. Navigate to the form that you want to add to your home screen
    3. Press the '+' icon
    4. Select 'Add to home screen'

Please let us know if you have additional questions or concerns.

    Thanks.

    New response receivedHi
Yes that would work, but members of the public would then have access to the ipad.
I need to lock it down. Any suggestions?

Yes that would work, but members of the public would then have access to the ipad.

I am sorry I am confused by this so I will have to ask for clarity. From what I get from the details from start, the members were supposed to be allowed to use the one ipad. They were members that you will allow to use the ipad device.

Are you going to share the ipad to the public as well? Please clarify.

Actually you can also have sub users on your account which will allow you to have administration among the sub users which forms that you can share.

We will wait for your updated response.

    New response receivedHi
I want to fix an IPAD onto a reception desk in my health and leisure club.
When they touch the home screen all I want them to be able to access is my five forms I have designed.
If I put the shortcuts to the forms on the home screen they can also access every other app on the IPAD via the homescreen
    Many thanks

Thank you for the explanation. I have another suggestion.

How about using instead the offline version of your forms.

You can put all the offline form version on the Homescreen on the device. Just like any other file, the form can be used by clicking on them on the screen. You the file can have names and icon which can be seen on the device screen.

You can use the PDF form version of the forms.

The PDF form will still require internet connection once submitted.

Let us know your thoughts on this.

    New response receivedHi
That would work too but I need to put the IPAD in kiosk mode so the public cant access anything on the IPAD, how could they they access the PDF’s?
Do Jotform not do an app that I can lock the IPAD into, that solely allows them to access forms I want them too?
    Many thanks

Unfortunately, we do not have an app as of yet that can house all forms for use. I suppose at the moment, you can hire someone create an app with the HTML-based forms in it.

I will also submit a feature request to the development team for this. But I cannot guarantee that this can be implemented as our developers are pretty busy with matters in their pipeline. But as soon as we have updates, we'll inform you on this.

    Thanks and warm regards.
