    Can you please give us more details on this. What input table from the configurable list do you need to customize?

    In your configurable list widget settings, You have these elements.

    Static Text : static : Some static text

    Text Box : text : Hint Text

    Text Area : textarea : Hint Text

    To increase the input table from the text, you add this code into your CSS

    input[type="text"] {

        width: 300px;

    }

    Hello! Thank you. I am attempting to use the configurable list in lieu of the input table - but am unsure about how to customize it. How do I change the static text, headings, and size of the text boxes/areas to make it function like the input table above it would.

    Probably this guide would help you https://www.jotform.com/help/282-How-to-Set-Up-the-Configurable-List-Widget you can check each field, how to insert it and how to configure.

    Regarding the size, fields can be adjusted by using the CSS, but that can be done if you have those fields created. We can assist you, of course, just let us know.

    Thank you!

    Yes, thank you. But how do I add more lines of static text under the general "budget items" header without another header? Essentially I want it to be:

    BUDGET ITEMS     DOLLAR AMOUNT     DESCRIPTION

    Salaries and wages  {text}                   {textarea}

    Consultants &

    professional fees      {text}                   {textarea}

    Travel                      {text}                   {textarea}

    Equipment               {text}                   {textarea}

    Supplies                   {text}                   {textarea}

    Training                    {text}                   {textarea}

    Shipping and delivery {text}                   {textarea}

    In-kind expense         {text}                   {textarea}

    Other (specify)          {text}                   {textarea}

    Other (specify)          {text}                   {textarea}

    Other (specify)          {text}                   {textarea}

    Other (specify)          {text}                   {textarea}

    TOTAL

    Yes I can see the problem you are facing. You are unable to modify the next rows static text right?

    I think the input table would be perfect for this form. Although I know that may not be what you want.

    Here's a demo:

    Hi there,

    Yes, that is the problem I am facing with the configurable list. I liked the list option because you can set a "text area" for one of the fields to show line breaks and more text.

    I originally had an input table but wanted one of the columns to have more text visibility  essentially to have a text area for the cells in "description" column. I was told that wasn't possible to wrap the text or provide more visibility. If anyone has other suggestions on how to do this, please let me know!

    Unfortunately, it's not possible to set more than one row as default while using the configurable list widget, in the meantime you may use the input table and add more than one with the same option, then ask your user if a new set of options needs to be added and then show the input tables accordingly.

    This guide will help you to show/hide the fields: https://www.jotform.com/help/316-How-to-Show-or-Hide-Fields-Base-on-User-s-Answer

    Also, we could open a feature request for this if you want, although we cannot provide an ETA, we would update you as soon as  we get any notice about it, please let us know if you would like to open the request.
