Changing the available quantity of the Inventory widget to zero deletes the data of the widget in existing submissions when resubmitted after form edi

    My event is full, so I zeroed out the number of tickets available, but then when I went in to approve all of the submissions, it deleted the quantity of tickets ordered.

    Is there any way to keep this from happening in the future, even if I forget to mark them approved BEFORE I zero out the number of tickets?

    I was able to see what you mean after testing a clone version of your form. Although there will be no duplicate submission that will be created when the form is re-submitted in edit mode, it is still considered as a different submission and therefore will load the form's current state.

    This means that after you updated the value of the Available Quantity option of the Inventory widget to 0, the widget will become disabled in edit mode and will not have any selected value when the form is resubmitted.

    I would suggest that before you make any update on the Inventory widget, please resubmit the form first for approval in edit mode.
