Using Field Manager to Update older Form

This is actually a continuation of an another thread;

Redirect to New Form 

I used Field Manager Widget to copy a new form over a older version.

First I deleted all fields on current form. Then I opened Field Manager and used it to transfer all the fields of the new form into the old one. It appeared to not only transfer the fields but the conditions, injected css code and the email responders.

This was all done on test forms and it appears at first glance to have done a perfect job. 

This was all done so I didn't have to have the users hit a button on the old form to use the new one.

After I do more verifications I will do this to the live form. stay tuned.

As far as I know, the field manager app should not be cloning anything other than the fields.  CSS, Email settings and conditions should not be copied using the field manager app:

From my testing, this was the case.  Only the fields themselves were copied.

David your absolutely  correct. I apologize for my misinformation. I tried this again on an absolutely clean form and it didn't do as I said.

BTW

JF having to go back to using CAPTCHA is most annoying. I know why you use it but couldn't you have it simpler, I am  for ever missing something and have to do it over and over.

I will still use this method for the form though. I will disable it, copy css over, fix problems, add conditions and responders .... More work then I first thought.
