Unique ID Widget: Order ID Changing upon editing submission.

    Starting this morning, our Order ID keeps changing when we edit a Submission. 

    We use that ID to uniquely identify a Project, so we really need it to remain the same, like it has done prior.

    Relating to Link: https://form.jotform.com/40635282858967 on Form Name: Jeff Sacco. Order ID 979 was submitted yesterday. A revision was made to 979 this morning and it changed the number to Order ID 891. Another revision was made and the number changed again to Order ID 892.

    Can you please look into this and advise? We would really like it to go back to staying the same number.

    I have cloned your form, and edited the submission, but the number did not change.

    Can we try doing a real submission, and edit it, in your form?

    I have submitted your form, and the ID(985) did not change upon editing the submission:

    Can you try editing that test submission?

    I couldn't get into ID 985, so I re-tested it on a new submission ID 986 and it doesn't change the ID so whatever happened is now working so we should be good to go!

    Upon further investigating, the issue you saw early was due to a temporary glitch that caused submissions to get duplicated upon edit mode, that is the reason why those few submission changed their IDs, as they were treated as new submissions. We apologize for the inconvenience, our back-end team already fixed the issue.
