If I use a single number filed for a credit card and suggest the format #### #### #### #### it does not work.

It is nice to use number filed because my iPad defaults to the number keypad for seamless entry. Also, please remove automatic comma insertion.

Column input: it would be nice to put at least two entry fields on a single line.

    Thanks, nice product, Bill

Thank you for your seggestion! It would be a great idea!

But for now, I we do have some tools available to customize our text field for the entry of numbers such as credit cards.  As you can see on the image there is a validation option that has a numeric setting to validate the form when being submitted.

As per the format for the submission:  #### #### #### ####  You may try to tailor a matrix field for this purpose.  It provides the multiple colum entry field that you have mentioned.

We don't usually advise that a user collects this type of information because through these fields as it does not look too secure.Using our built-in Payment tools (Paypal, Authorize.Net, etc) is probably the best solution for accepting payment on your forms. Doing so shall build customer confidence on your business, as these companies are reputable and well-known.
