Hi,
The phone picker required function does not work!
Anybody knows how to solve this issue?

Dear Ivo,
We are sorry for the inconvenience you have.
I have cloned your form named "Test phone picker" on my side in order to test it. I have seen that you have a Phone Picker widget in your form and "Netherland" has been set by default. So, your widget is not empty in every case, so it will pass from the requiring limit for every time. This is the normal logic of all fields.
If you do not set any default value to the fields and if you have set "required" feature, the warning will appear in the case of being empty as seen below:
My recommendation is to consider using a basic phone number field and setting an input mask to the country code as you can see the screenshot below:
So, your users will not be able to submit the form before entering the phone number in a specific format.
For detailed information regarding input masking, please find the following guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/381-Getting-Started-with-the-basics-of-Input-Masking
I hope this helps. If you need further clarification, do not hesitate to contact us again.

Thanks Candy,
I decided to work with the regular phone field without masking.
But do you perhaps know how to remove the area-code section.
I want to collect cell phone numbers.

You will need to set up a mask if you do not want to have the area code on your form:
I hope this helps.
