We have a form where we want a user to choose EITHER a set amount to donate to a cause or select their own amount.
This is the form: https://form.jotformpro.com/72533793161963
Right now we have it set up where they can choose an amount or type in their own amount. If you select "Annual fund/NIC View Camera" as the option for "Select the giving program you wish your donation to support" you will see another field where they can select an amount or type in their own amount.
Then, at the bottom of the form, where the payment widget is, they will have to enter that amount they chose again. Is there any way to set up a payment widget that allows people to either select a specific amount or type in their own and it populates right there in the payment widget? That way they do not have to re-type the amount in the payment widget that they either selected or typed above. It would do it automatically, reducing any possible errors.

You are able to send values to payment gateway only from the Form Calculation widget.
I have cloned your form named "Donate to the Floyd Medical Center NICU Campaign" on my side in order to test it. I have added a Form Calculation widget to your form and then set the "Please accept my gift of" named field to it as seen below:
After, I have set the calculation widget hidden and then set the calculation amount to the payment gateway as seen below:
So, when your users select an amount from the single selection field, the payment gateway will be fulfilled automatically as seen below:
Also, when they select the Other option, the input will appear in the payment gateway.
I think this is the outcome you want to accomplish. Please find the example form at the following URL: https://form.jotformpro.com/72634862823967

I hope this helps.
