    Our IT team is switching our email accounts over to Office 365 and they're requesting something called "SPF Records" from offsite systems that use notification emails.

    Do you have this information for JotForm notification and auto-responder emails?

    (They don't want a link to an article - we've tried that.)

    SPF records are intended to state who can send an email in your name.

    And since you mentioned Office 365 as your email domain so the emails will be sent from the Microsoft therefore only what you have to do is to  set the SMTP settings for your sender email: https://www.jotform.com/help/244-How-to-Setup-SMTP-for-a-Form

    If you have any further questions please let us know.

    Thank you!

    Hello. Thanks for your response My colleague started this Friday afternoon but is out this week. I wanted to follow up for some clarification. The IT person is pushing us for the specific SPF record for Jotform. He is not looking for how-to information, just what the SPF record is supposed to be. In searching the forum, I have found two different answers. One is
    include:spf1.jotform.com include:spf2.jotform.com. The other is v=spf include:spf1.jotform.com include:spf2.jotform.com ~all.  Which of those would be considered the actual Jotform SPF record? I don't have an in-depth understanding of the issues but am just trying to address the request from IT. We would be grateful for your direction.

    You can lookup the SPF record for any domain using free online tools.

    For example:

    https://mxtoolbox.com/spf.aspx

    They state the SPF record for jotform.com is:

    v=spf1 include:spf1.jotform.com include:spf2.jotform.com  -all

    Please let us know if that worked for you.

    Thank you for that information. I will pass it along and get back with you if there are any issues or questions. That sounds like exactly the sort of information that was being requested, unless I am missing something.
