Unable to enter Carriage Return in Long Text Entry fields

I've used a number of Long Text Entry fields throughout my forms, and hope to have users list items in them on separate lines. However, I'm unable to enter the Carriage Return keystroke! Currently, the only way they can enter separate items seems to be if they separate them by commas, which would be confusing in my database.

How can I get these input fields to accept a Carriage Return?

I am unable to reproduce that issue on my end. The line breaks are fine when I enter the data and receive it.
