Hi, wondering why the formats set in the text element do not follow through into the PDF form ?

If you want to show the Text element to the PDF form, please enable the Show Headers and Texts on the Submissions page. Here's a screenshot:
If you want to view your Submissions page, please follow this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/269-How-to-View-Form-Submissions

Unfortunately, the PDF copy of the submission will just give you the standard design, not the design that you've made in the form builder. If you wish to customize the design, you can do it with the PDF customizer tool.
Or, do it with an external tool.
