What counts as a submission?

Does a form being submitted back to us count a submission? Or does a submission count as a form being sent? 

When someone completed your form, that is counted as a submission.

For example, I opened your form, fill it up and then hit the Submit button. Your submission counter will increase by 1. You can view the form submission on the Submissions page.
