Can I add a custom button to my form?

    Hi,

I need to create a button that takes users to an external link, kind of how you can replace the thank you page and re-direct to a link. I want to show my thank you page but then allow users to click a customized button that takes them to my external link from there.

    Is that possible?

    Thanks!

Yes, you can add the button to the Thank you page of your form, that will take the user's to an external URL when they click on it.

You can added the HTML button code to the Source Code of the Thank You page.

    Example code:

    <button><a target="_blank" href="https://www.jotform.com/help" rel="nofollow">Click Me!</a></button>

Here is my demo form: https://form.jotformpro.com/72695871079977

Feel free to test it and clone it

Hope this meet what you are looking for.

    Hi,
This is very helpful however, in your screenshot you are on a page that
says Choose and action after submission. How do I get there?

That screen was from the Condition Logic using the Thank you page.

I think I know the problem. I'm not seeing this in the thanks you page
    conditions:

Is this a paid feature? I'm trying things out in the free option.

I have just checked this and it seems to be working fine. However, please note that your account has enabled the new forms layout option so the thank you page cannot contain custom HTML codes, the source code cannot be modified.

However, please share us the screenshots you have taken so we can see how the wizards show on your end, this guide will help you uploading your images: https://www.jotform.com/help/438-How-to-Post-Screenshots-to-Our-Support-Forum

P.S. This forum thread does not accept attached files through emails, this is why your screenshots did not reach this thread.

We  will wait for your response.

I'm not much interested in the earlier version of the JotFrom option. It's
a little dated. I really liked the new version and interface. I'm
disappointed that the new version cannot be modified to include a thank you
page. Any chance this will be updated in the near future?

You can modify your thank you page settings by scrolling down to the bottom of the form.

There is an EDIT THANK YOU PAGE button there. By clicking it, you should be able to change the settings or even change the URL where you can point your form's thank you page.

    Thanks.

Yes this is true, but I can't add a button to take them to my URL. It
either lets me add a thank you page without a re-direct option, or a
    re-direct w/out a thank you page.

With the 'New Form Layout' forms you can edit the thank you page and add your custom text or you can redirect your user to a different page. It is not possible to edit the Source code of the Thank You page and add a button with the HTML.

If you want to add a button to the Thank you page of your form you need to create a form in the 'Legacy Layout'.

Feel free to contact us if you have any other questions.
