How to turn off the automated stripe email

    Hi Jotform, 

    We are using Jotform to accept Stripe donations. I'm trying to turn off the automated stripe email. Seeing as we already send a thank you email from Jotform the stripe email may come across as confusing since it is not branded and the person who donated might not know who stripe is. 

    On the Stripe platoform, I have disabled all email receipts (screenshot attached as 'capture'). 

    I spoke with Stripe as I could not figure out how to disable and they said this was on the developer side and seeing as it is running through Jotform that it was something that needed to be changed on the Jotform side. Can you please show me how to disable to automated email receipts from Stripe?

    You could also have turned on email receipts via the API in email receipt parameter field which is under the payments section and then under the events tab, if they are still on, then I'd advise you to get your developer to turn them off for you. 
    In your case, I can see that they are still on as per the screenshot of a recent charge of $1.00. Bearing this in mind, I'd advise you to reach out to your developer to get email receipts disabled. If you don't currently have access to a Stripe developer, the following developer hiring resources linked below all offer Stripe-fluent web developers:

    I spoke with them some more and they confirmed that this was on Jotform's end.

    Seems like through the Stripe API emails are sent to the customer, please try clearing the selection on the customer email field, this can be done through the payment wizard, under the additional gateway settings section:

    Awesome! That fixed the issue. One thing I wanted to check,

    we have a give once donation and a reoccurring feature. On the subscription payment form, can't seem to get to the same advanced gateway settings to disable the email.
