All of our forms and submissions are using SSL. It means that the data is being transferred from your browser to our server will be secured. We support high-grade 256-bit encryption. We have an SSL certificate that uses SHA256 /w RSA. (https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=secure.jotform.com)

You can also encrypt your forms here in JotForm. For more information, please check this guide: Encrypted-Forms-and-How-to-Use-Them. We are also Safe Harbor Certified, please check this blog post for further information.

Collecting sensitive information is not allowed here in JotForm. Please check our Terms of Use page. You are not allowed to collect credit card information using regular text fields. If you need to collect payments, you need to use one of our payment processors.

If you need to collect Social Security Number and Driver's License information, you will need to add the following in your form:

    1. An agreement stating the use of bank details. You can use the "Text" tool. You may also use the Short Scrollable Terms widget or Terms & Conditions widget.

    2. Digital signature field. You can use the E-Signature widget or the Smooth Signature widget.

Hope that helps. If you have any questions, let us know. Thank you.
