Why was I autosuspended?

    I was just building a form we're thinking about using and it just suddenly kicked me out and said I was auto-suspended. What happened?

    Haven't used it in a bit so I know I'm not over my limit or anything. Help?

    Your account (trtaylor) is currently suspended. Our phishing detector tool automatically suspended your account. This form (Client Information Sheet) is the one that triggered the suspension. I checked the form and I found out that you are asking for a "Social Security Number".

    Please take note that collecting sensitive information is not allowed here in JotForm. I suggest you check our terms of use. We need to delete that field so that we can reactivate your account.

    If you really need to collect this information from the user, then you need to add the following into the form:

    1. An agreement stating the use of bank details. You can use the "Text" tool. You may also use the Short Scrollable Terms widget or Terms & Conditions widget.

    2. Digital signature field. You can use the E-Signature widget and Smooth Signature widget.

    3. Use Form Encryption. Here's a guide: Encrypted-Forms-and-How-to-Use-Them(Optional)

    I am good with those stipulations. I was just starting to create the form as a test. I’m not sure I understand all the instructions below. If I run into questions/issues, how is it best to ask for info.

    I have now fixed the form with issue and reactivated your account. You can log in to the account to view the updated status.

    Hi. I’m trying to log back in and it says it’s still suspended. How can I get back in?

    Upon checking your account I found that it's suspended by our anti-phishing system. We have automated anti-phishing system which scans all forms and mark them with probability of being used for phishing activities.

    I have taken care of your account issues and activated it again. Do try to sign in to your JotForm account and get back to us if you have any trouble.
