    Why aren't form updates saving?

Asked by synergeticweb on September 04, 2012 at 02:19 PM

I've made some changes to the form at http://form.jotform.us/form/22468189650159.   I can see the changes in the form builder and then hit save. However, when I view the form the changes haven't propoagated. What's wrong?

The easiest one to see is a black submit button instead of the grey one.

I'm viewing it directly and not embedded inside my webpage to make sure my css isn't overwriting it.

This is a data replication problem between our servers in different data centers. You may either wait little bit for the changes to be updated, or you can use the same domain name. For example if your form is on jotform.us, you can login and use the form builder on www.jotform.us. Then there will not be any lag in the updates.

Usually there is no lag but we are doing some database maintenance today.

New response receivedHmmm - I'm logging it at jotform.com and my form is on jotform.com but I'm still experiencing a lag. Am I somehow not using the same domain name?

Hi Jenny.  Although you have created your form while you were logged in at jotform.com, the form has been assigned with a domain jotform.us, referring to the URL of the form that you have shared: http://form.jotform.us/form/22468189650159

So what Aytekin suggests is that since your form uses the jotform.us domain, you can try editing your form by logging in at jotform.us and edit your form there.

Please let us know if you need further clarification on this.
