How do I narrow the form to fit in TypePad?

Asked by stampinstyle on September 04, 2012 at 07:00 PM

I created a form to collect client data.  I used thed Form Width option to narrow the form.  I went to the Source Code for TypePad to make sure it was correct.  The form appears in TypePad but no matter how much I narrow the Form Width, it has no effect on the display in TypePad.  The form layout I see in JotForm build mode doesn't even look the same.  In the Jot Form display the field prompts are above the response fields, but when I preview it in TypePad, the prompts appear to the left of the fields.  Suggestions?

Hello, what width are you trying to achieve?  and also, have you tried embeding the form using an iFrame?

You can set the labels for the fields to appear on top of the labels by choosing the "Preferences" from the "Setup & Embed" tab.  Under the "Field Style" you will find the option for label alignment.

Here is a link in case you need more information about the embeding of the form using the iFrame.  Let me know if that helped!

    Thanks Eduardo,

Discovered it was an error in the code JotForm provides.  One other post result suggested replacing the word form with www, and it worked like a charm!
