My form is showing default answers when they shouldn't be

Hi, very early days yet on this form but it has all been going swimmingly until last night. When I preview the form it has some answers with a default answer when all my questions are set without a default, even a couple of radio buttons at the end are doing it also. I am planning on purchasing a Bronze or Silver subscription once we get the form up & running.

It was working fine until I added the second section - summerhouses - to the form, as you can see each section has a large amount of variations & conditions and there are many left to add yet.

The problem arises on the second page where the shed information is pre-selected on the "what type of shed do you want?" drop down, and then again on the last page with the radio buttons which are already showing as selected when the page loads.

Any input you may have on this would be greatly appreciated.

I tested your form, but I am not able to replicate mentioned issue.

My form is showing default answers when they shouldnt be Image 1 Screenshot 20

I was also not able to replicate the issue on my cloned form in preview. Was maybe AutoFill feature enabled on your form previously?

Are you still able to replicate the issue? Which browser and device are you using? Please test your form in a new browser tab and not in preview. You can also test it in some other browser.

Hi Yes sorry I have since tested on multiple browsers, it appears ho happen on Chrome & Firefox in preview mode but not when accessed via the form link directly i.e. not signed in. Havent signed in in ie safari or others to test.

I will just continue testing via the direct link instead of preview, thanks for your help.

I can see you have already disabled the auto-fill feature on your form. Are you still replicating the issue?

Please also make sure that the auto-fill option from Chrome or Firefox is not enabled on your browsers.

This link will help you disabling the auto-fill feature on your browsers: https://support.iclasspro.com/hc/en-us/articles/218569268-How-to-Disable-and-Clear-AutoFill-Info-in-your-Browser

    I hope this helps.

I have done so, the issue seems to be intermittent as I am building the form at work on Win7  testing in Safari & FF and also at home on Win10 testing on Safari & FF, also on a Macbook Air Sierra Chrome & Safari.

The browser autofill works on the preview in chrome on the work machine, however the fields are pre selected on proceeding through next page for all drop down & radio button fields.

My machines at home both don't display autofill as an option on preview or via the link, but also dont have the fields pre selected with an option...must be gremlins.

Its no big issue, the form is going to be used on an ipad in the shop with customers so testing through safari is handy, and building on chrome for speed is fine.

    Thanks for all the help!

    You're welcome.

It's either the auto fill or the fill form button in the preview or your browser. Whatever it is, let us know if you will experience this problem again.
