Why I am able to download the files from email when the require login is selected?

    Hello, I've followed your advice. and ticked the option to require log-in to view uploaded files. However, when I use the "download all uploads" in the Jotform dashboard I receive a message that I will receive an email to download them all. But that again is downloading from an e-mail. NOT SECURE. Why can't I download all uploads in one time from the back-end?

    If you're the owner of the account (and form) and you're logged in while you try to download the uploaded files, that will work and it should. The option you checked is a restriction if anyone tries to access any uploaded file that is under your account and that means, for example, URL of the uploaded file in submission, if you try to click it to access the file, you will not be able to unless you're logged in.

    Sorry, but that does not work as you say. I'm the owner of the account, but when I select all my forms and press Download all uploads I get this screen:

    Please note that when you click on "Download All Uploads", the zip file is built in the backend and an email will automatically be sent to you with the download link. The files will be downloaded from secure server.

    This is very strange! I'm already logged in to the dashboard en want to download all uploads. For this I get an email, in which I have to click on a link. So I have to leave the dashboard and go to my e-mail to finish downloading. Why did you choose for this: it is not logical. Why is the link of the zip not shown in the dashboard, where it should be (because that is where I'm logged in). This is confusing and not consistent. Is there no other way to download all files and staying in the dashboard?

    Actually, yes, that is a procedure and it is completely secure since you're receiving an email to your email address from which you access the secure download link and download your zip file. I'm not sure about the reason why our developers handled uploaded files in that way, but the download is certainly secured.

    You can download all your data: https://www.jotform.com/help/374-How-to-Export-All-of-Your-Data-at-Once and that will happen in the dashboard.
