Files are not intended to be embedded on your website. Forms are the ones you're supposed to be embedding on a website that you own.

If you're aiming to allow your users to upload a file, to a form that is embedded on your website, here's what you need to do:

    1. Build a form that accepts file uploads.

While building your form, I also recommend you drop by the pages that I'm linking below so you have a general idea on how to setup the file size limit and file types you can allow/disallow on your File Upload field.

    2. After building your form, it's time to embed it on your website.

Embedding the form on your website highly depends on how your website was built. We have a detailed guide that covers most of the CMS platforms along with all the other embed methods available for you.

If you're not sure what you're using right now or which one to choose, we usually recommend the iFrame Embed method as it works most of the time on any website.
