Email Validator Widget: Ability to customize the second step of the email validation with CSS

In response to BJoanna's request that I separate the feature request from my previous question (How to Add Custom CSS to E-mail Validator Widget?), I'm submitting this request that the hidden "Verify" (second) section of the E-Mail Validator widget be made visible during edit mode, even though you won't see it until form submit when in Preview and live modes.

I tried to make a CSS style change to the Verify button. But, I couldn't find the element's "name" tag using browser Inspect or Properties|Field Details because it doesn't appear. Being hidden from design view in its current state, there's no WYSIWYG way to edit it or customize its text and button styles. It would be a lot easier if we could make such custom edits of the "Verify" step directly in the form builder's Properties or Advanced Designer windows like we can with the "Send" step. Please submit a suggestion to your development team for a future feature upgrade to fix this.

    Thanks!

Just to be on the same page, you want this section to be visible when you're editing the form in the form builder:

So you can apply CSS to it?

I'm not sure if such feature will be possible to implement since, as you noticed as well, it appears only when the email is submitted.

    We'll wait for your response.

    Thank you!

Yes Nik, that's exactly what I'm requesting. Its like flying blind otherwise! There's no way to customize, or even control what it looks like if you can't see it! There must be some way to implement a conditional action that reveals it (in live or preview modes) only if an email address has been sent.

    Thank you for the confirmation.

I will certainly forward this request to our backend team for a possible implementation.

We cannot provide you the ETA regarding this request, but we'll inform you through this thread once the feature is/if implemented.

    Thank you!
