    Hi there,

I want to create a form where once user submits, the approving manager gets a mail where he can just click on either an approve or denied button after reviewing the request.

A mail then has to be send back to the requester to say "your application has been approved/denied."

    How do I do that?

You can achieve this by setting up an email notification/autoresponder with Edit Link. For more information, you can check this guide: How to Let Users Update Their Form Submissions at a Later Date. Then set a conditional email that will be sent when the Approved/Denied field is filled so the user will know if their submission was approved or denied. You can check this guide for more information: How to Send Email Based on User's Answer.

Here is a sample cloned form that you can check: https://form.jotform.com/72764334273964. You can clone the form so you can have a closer look on the setup. To clone a form, just follow the instructions provided in this guide: How to Clone an Existing Form from a URL.
