I have outsourced the creation of a form and he shared it with me upon completion in my jotform account but i would like to move it into my forms. how do I move it?

Also I may need to edit it myslef from time to time. Is moving it to "my forms" considered a best practice?

Since the form is in the other account that is being shared with you, it is only possible to move the form to your account by placing a request by the form owner. The other user may be able to move to your account directly if you can add his account as a sub-account user to your account. Please refer to the guide below that can help you with more information on transferring forms to another account.

If you want to manage the form by yourself and have full control of the form, you may move the form to your account. And you may share the form to the other user by using sub-account user if you still want them to edit the form.
