How do I get my input table to export to excel the way it appears in the form?

I am creating a form to keep track of grades. I chose to use the input table because the columns and rows are customizable so I can enter the students names and what grades I need to keep track of. I looked into the Spreadsheet widget but the column and row names are not customizable. When I export the submission for the input table to an excel spreadsheet, it exports all the data to one row and does not sort the information into the columns and rows like in the form. Is there a way to customize the form so that it exports to excel properly?

I suggest you create a Grid Listing report http://www.jotform.com/help/105-How-to-create-a-Grid-Listing-report

and then copy the data from that grid report to your excel document.
