Google Team Drive: Can you implement an integration with Team Drive?

I just migrated my company to Team Drives. It doesn't look like there's a way to have the submissions saved to a Team Drive. Unfortunately, Google doesn't currently make it possible to share a folder in a Team Drive with a My Drive account, which would be a workaround if it worked.

Has anyone been able to find a solution to this?

Unfortunately, I don't think there is an option to do this with Google as of yet.

There is already a plethora of people complaining about the inability to share folders within Team Drives. It's unclear when that functionality is coming or whether it will happen at all.

The JotForm Google Drive extension has been very helpful to me in the past, and as more users end up switching to Team Drives I can imaging more people requesting this feature. In my research I did find one solution using a service called Integromat:

This can be used to automatically transfer data from a form submission into a folder in Team Drives. However, I couldn't find I way to transfer the PDF that JotForm generates for its Google Drive integration, so I didn't end up using Integromat. Just thought this info might be helpful for anyone else Googling for an answer.

Thank you for the details. I have made a feature request for this integration after some research on the matter and exhausting all possibilities. However, I cannot give a guarantee to when this request can get implemented. But as soon as we have updates, we'll be sure to inform you.

For now, I would like to explore with you the integration with integromat on finding a way to include the PDF submission files of the form. However, I do not have a Team Drive account to test it with, so if it is fine by you, I would like to borrow a temporary access to your team drive so to see if there can be a way to include the PDF submissions, other than the files that is being submitted. But, if you have decided to completely not use integromat, that is OK.

In addition, as a temporary solution, I think what you can do for now is provide a share access to your existing google drive folder to your team by adding their accounts individually.

I've pretty firmly decided against using Integromat right now, as it adds a layer of complexity to a feature that is not critical to my workflow. Like you said, I can share the normal Google Drive folder with individual team members who need access.

Anyway, thanks for looking into this! Team Drives are still a pretty new feature that I didn't even become aware of until fairly recently, so I don't blame JotForm for not having the feature. It'll be awesome if it gets added in the future though. :)
