Purchase Order: How to split payment information in the submissions?

    Hi there,  we've created an order form for our choir members to request CDs that we then order in bulk from a single supplier.

    We've discovered that the order information is being lumped together in one cell which is incredibly unhelpful!  I expected each product to be in its own column.  Have I done something wrong or is there another way we can get the results in the format will allow us to clearly see how many of each CD we need to order?

    In the normal case, the payment information in submission has to appear in the same cell when exporting the submissions in excel or spreadsheet as seen the example below:

    As far as I understand you prefer to separate the payment information to different cells you received. This is not possible in JotForm. 

    However, as an another workaround, after exporting submission data to excel or spreadsheet, maybe you can use some excel or spreadsheet tools in order to make the payment data split as you can see in the following external link belongs to Excel: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Split-text-into-different-columns-with-the-Convert-Text-to-Columns-Wizard-30B14928-5550-41F5-97CA-7A3E9C363ED7

    Thanks for your reply, Candy.  Is it possible to put this forward to the development team for future improvement?  I can't be the only user who would like to see purchase order responses split in this way. 

    Are there any different widgets that we could use to collect the information in the first place, which would present the results in the way we need?

    I will try the workaround that you have suggested in the meantime, thank you for that.

    Dear Natalie,

    As per your request, I have sent a feature request to our software development team in order to consider implementing a feature to allow splitting the payment information according to the products into different excel or spreadsheet cells. Please be informed about that we can not promise if the feature will be implemented certainly. Also, we can not estimate any time for the development phase.

    There are lots of ways to establish an order form in JotForm. However, if you consider using simple checkboxes or configurable list widget there will be always the same problem, the related submissions will be in the same cell unless you do not create the products with different fields.
