Why would you let someone create a form and get the embed code without having to save it to an account?

Apparently I was not signed into my account a few hours ago when I created a form.

Like always, it was easy, but time consuming deciding on the right language. It's an application, so I want to ask the right questions without making the form too cumbersome.

I finished, grabbed the embed code posted it on the facebook page, sent it out on emails.

The form is gone. It's gone out to at least 5,000 people.

Why can't you make a person create or sign into an account before they can get the embed code--this would assure that the form was saved.

I hit the "save" button a few times during the process.

If you can provide the URL of the form, we can assign it to your account.

    Hello Jotform Co-founder.

My form reappeared. I'm guessing it has something to do with the issues you had yesterday and the new rollout.

Today, suddenly, I edited the form again (after about 2 doz people used it), but now it doesn't see to work:

1: I fixed the email so that the form filler and I get email saying, "Thanks, we'll be in touch," but when I have tested it, I don't get emails to my main email or to the alt email I used in the form. However, the input is in the report if I go into jotform.

2: I added a couple drop down menus, and they were there for awhile. But now when I get the embed code, paste it into firefox, the older version without the drop downs appears.

    Any help?

I love JotForm, btw, and am sorry to have been snippy yesterday.

    Hello Steve

Please accept my apologies for the inconveniences.

Since our development team has been migrating our database to a more powerful servers cloud, this have been causing some accounts to experience a lag while updating forms

Please do the follow,  if the form is  for example on  www.jotform.us domain  http://ww.jotform.us/form/1234567890  , we are asking people to login into their Jotform account using (for the example above)  www.jotfom.us  and perform the updates there.

Also make sure the embedded code into your page is also modified to that domain www.jotfom.xxx   When eveything gets restablished, you will not need to make the changes again

See this other thread to have  an example of what I am explaining to you

Regarding to the email address, please perform the steps above and if you still don't get the email notifications, let us know the email address so we can further check

Let us know if you need further assistance
